OC Peacemakers Golf Tour

What is the OC Peacemakers Golf Tour?

The OC Peacemakers Golf Tour is a Tri-Annual charity golf tour for golfers who enjoy playing tournament golf with a 4-person team scramble format.

The OC Peacemakers Golf Tour will typically visit different golf courses in Orange County about every 4 months.

A portion of the entry fees will be donated to charity as well as all of the proceeds from the 50-25-25 Raffle, 50-50 putting contest and mulligan sales.

Winning team members are eligible to play in the next scheduled OC Peacemakers Golf Tour event for 50% off the listed entry fee.

Martin Luther King OCPMGT event rained out

It was a tough call, but the forecast was for torrential rainfall during the MLK Day tourney in January. The event was rescheduled for President's day on 2-15-10. Thanks to all who were able to attend after the change in the event date!

Anaheim Hills next stop on the OC Peacemakers Golf Tour!

The Spring Tournament will benefit (CHOC)- The Children's Hospital of Orange County. Funds raised will benefit children who are are in need of medical assistance.

Don't worry you will be home in time for the barbeque.

Registering for the OC Peacemakers Golf Tour

The team captain of the 4-some should collect all entry fees from team members and e-mail a list the names of the 4 players on the team to Eric Nester enester@ocsd.org or Dave Rios DTRiosJr@ocsd.org. Pony Pack the check(s) made out to OC Peacemakers Golf Tour to: OCSD -West Substation -Stanton Police Services Attn: Sgt. Eric Nester

or send check via US Postal Service to:

The check(s) for the teams must be collected and received no later than the listed Due Date of the tournament. Once your funds are received, your team will be added to the master tournament list.

The Spring tournament will be at Anaheim Hills Golf Club in Anaheim hills on 5-31-10 (Memorial Day)

As an added bonus, each player will be given a chance at a free putt at the 50-50 putting challenge prior to tee off. Players can purchase additional putts at $5.00 each-no limit at the putting green. Whoever makes the putt will get 1/2 the jackpot. Do you have the skills or are you just lucky? Remember...you have to putt to win!

There will be two longest drive holes and two closest to the pin holes. These holes will be specified on the rules posted on your carts. Write you name on the indicator stake provided if you have a longer or closer shot on these holes. Awards will be given to the winners after the tournament.

Don't forget to buy Mulligans! If you want to win this tournament, each player on your team would be wise to buy two Mulligans at the registration table. Each player on your team can buy up to two Mulligan tickets for $5.00 each. Each Mulligan ticket gives you an extra free shot to use anytime during the round. The past two tournament winning scores were close and Mulligans used likely made the difference.
